Only a week away

So this semester is the first time I will be taking all my classes online , all 8 of them. Although I have taken many classes online before I usually have one or two that I am at school for. I currently have two jobs and will be going to school full time, as well as commuting almost an hour and twenty minutes to Trenton for my internship. I am going to be honest I am pretty nervous, its a lot to take on. I have taken on more in the past but this internship could really be my job right out of college and I would love to work there. So I want to give it my full attention and dedication.

Throughout my years at FIT I learned how to become a very organized multitasker, you could give me 10 projects and tell me to finish them in a week, I may not sleep but you will have all of them by that deadline if not sooner. FIT instills in you to be driven and a hard worker, because being a student here isn’t what everyone thinks. Whenever I mention I go to school at FIT they always assume that I go for fashion and that’s so easy I must barely go to classes, and I sit around in the city like Carrie Bradshaw on the weekends. But my life at FIT has been far from that, extremely amazing, but I haven’t gotten to this point with slacking off. I worked hard everyday, studied, barely slept, and had actual jobs and internships while doing it, sometimes all at the same time. I have had very little downtime to hang out with my friends or do typical college student things but that was my choice and I think when you decide FIT is the college for you, you know that your going to work just as hard if not harder then any of your friends.

College is what you make of it, and regardless if your a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, you will find what drives you to make your future brighter.

Good Luck this semester,

Kailee
