I hope all your finals went well, and that you are having a great start to the holidays! Yesterday was my last final, which means that today I am celebrating with my friends and treating myself to a good meal. While walking back home a few weeks ago after an evening class, I walked passed this outdoor food market called Mad. Sq. Eats and it really caught my eye, because it was dark outside, but the market was illuminated by lightbulbs hanging from the roofs. It was really beautiful and made me want to go there and see it for myself. The ambiance was really pleasant, everyone was enjoying good food with friends and it felt very welcoming. It’s not big but there is a good amount of food options. I would suggest going there in the evening, because it makes it just that little more special and fun.
Mad. Sq. Eats is in Worth Square (5th Avenue between 25th and 26th Streets). The market is open till May 27th from 11:00am – 9:00pm.
