Mid-College Crisis

So it’s your sophomore year, second semester, and you come to a realization that your career plans have changed.  While most students don’t fully admit to this, it happens to MOST of us.  We are allowed to change our minds about what we want to do, but sometimes the pressure of our major and the high stakes of the industry can make us feel otherwise.  Some of you may want to change majors or find out what careers stem from your major but you don’t know where to start.

Before you completely panic, I recommend meeting with a counselor in the Career and Internship Center!  They are conveniently located in B202 and the counselors are there to provide guidance and assistance as you approach graduation, post-grad, or anywhere in between.  They can inform you of the potential career opportunities that are available to you as you can express your concerns about where you currently stand in your academic career.  Sounds great, doesn’t it?!  To meet with a counselor, I recommend calling 212 217.3000 to guarantee an appointment during the walk-in hours stated below:

Monday: 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Wednesday: 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Thursday: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Friday: 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Don’t sweat about your future just yet!  FIT is here to help!
