Today, I finally headed over to the brand new UrbanSpace Vanderbilt located at East 45th St and Vanderbilt Avenue. UrbanSpace Vanderbilt is a permanent food hall with all your favorite restaurants that you usually see at the temporary food events from UrbanSpace Madison Sq. Eats and Broadway Bites. It is conveniently located right near Grand Central which is perfect for all of you Metro North commuters! The open space and abundance of options is perfect for a casual date spot, lunch or dinner on the go, or a nice place to unwind with some grub.
Some of the vendors include the classic New York City food icons such as Dough, Roberta’s, Ovenly, Sigmunds, and my favorite, Two Tablespoons. The endless options and menu items are perfect for picky eaters. UrbanSpace Vanderbilt is one of the first markets of its kind to give you so much variety in a condensed space. The vastness of markets like Chelsea Market can be overwhelming, with each store having their own seating and “store.” With UrbanSpace Vanderbilt, you get the feel of each individual vendor within a small market.
