Can you believe it? Opening Day of Summer Live is this Monday! Time sure is flying!
For this week’s Tip of the Week, we wanted to give you a few tips on making Opening Day as smooth as butter. Did you know that there are about 2000 students registered for Summer Live 2011 from all over the world? That means there are 2000 students who need to check in the morning of July 11.
So here is what you can do to make sure you are prepared:
- Review the Student Handbook and get a good night’s sleep
- Eat a healthy breakfast the morning of
- Wear your Precollege wristband or make sure to pack your signed Parental Consent Form – you will not be able to go to class without this form!
- Print your schedule so you know the location of your class and make sure you bring it with you to FIT
- Print your Supply Lists (high school – middle school), should you need to do additional shopping in the city after your class
- Remember to wear your student ID card
- Report directly to the Great Hall located just west of 28th Street and 7th Avenue, thirty minutes before the start of class
Take just a few moments to prepare for Opening Day! You’ll be glad you did!
