Instructor Spotlight: Dik Liu

Dik Liu is an Adjunct Instructor in the Fine Arts Department of the School of Art and Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He is a practicing artist and has taught at the college level for over 20 years.

Dik has taught HFA 023: Basic Drawing and HFA 148: Fine Arts Portfolio for Precollege Programs.

Dik received his MFA from Yale University.

Professor Liu’s Teaching Philosophy:

I prepare my students with the fundamental, technical skills they need to excel in their art education. Just as important, I enable them to be at their best and to attain whatever it is that is their artistic goal.
