I have fixed my spreadsheet and it should be perfect now but the score on the official grades spreadsheet hasn’t changed- why?
ANSWER: Every time I make any updates or changes to the grades spreadsheet, I make a course announcement post.
Due to my course-load and communication being my top priority, I do not look over assignments each day. I might have students working on spreadsheets every day and instead of continually grading, I set aside specific times and look over all at once.
I generally grade once, then re-grade when they are due. When students have specific questions for me on their Google docs, I open their spreadsheet or homework document.
Occasionally throughout the semester when students hand in spreadsheets early, I tend to make comments (if I have free time). This would happen on a new spreadsheet assignment, though. Not on one that has already been graded once.
If you believe you did not get a perfect score after doing corrections and want me check over your spreadsheet, let me know! This is the case where I will open it at a different time. Otherwise, I will get to all the re-dos when they are due.
