FIT’s adjunct professor Linda Daly is an artist-designer whose multi-media work has been exhibited in the U.S and Mexico. After completing an MFA from the Instituto Allende, she went on leave from her Doctoral Studies at Columbia University to open an Atelier and Gallery in Soho, NYC.
Teaching Philosophy:
My teaching goal is to allow my students to have fun and excitement while creating their own designs in a modern screen print environment. Emphasis is on experimentation and originality.
Industry Experience:
Professor Daly designed visuals and banner designs commissioned by Bloomingdales, Henri Bendel, Gucci, Armani, Ferragamo, Missoni etc.
Fine Art pieces commissioned or exhibited by Henry Luce Foundation, Fritz Loman Gallery, Supernova, Peter Rose Gallery, Museum of American Folk Art etc.
She has also consulted with the United Nations on textiles and printmaking.
Professor Daly is currently working on a show that will open in 2020 in Soho, NYC.
