Where are the assignments, like the first spreadsheet assignment?

Where are the assignments, like the first spreadsheet assignment?

ANSWER: Right on our Blackboard course site. You will find spreadsheet assignments in each module folder (first spreadsheet assignment in Module 1 folder). You will find it in the All-in-One Page or in the Spreadsheet folder. Both areas bring you to the same assignment.

You are not looking in your Google Drive. Everything is in Blackboard.

Here is a quick 2 minute video of me showing you exactly how to find the spreadsheet assignment in two different ways.

My transcript of video:

Hi there! So, someone had a question with where they could find some assignments like the spreadsheet assignment.

So everything you need for the course is on the Blackboard site.

You don’t go to your Google Drive (and look for things there).

You won’t see anything in your Google Drive because I do not individually share assignments with each student. I create things so that if you are using your FIT Google account then you are able to view items. Nothing is going to automatically show up into your Google Drive unless YOU make a copy and then save it.

So again everything you need is on the course site. For example, if you’re looking for the spreadsheet assignment you’re clicking… you can find it in two different ways. One way is in the spreadsheet assignment folder. You have a tutorial and you should read how it works first then the tutorial. In the “Assignment: Introduction to Spreadsheets”, you have the assignment in there.

Or, if you prefer the all-in-one-page you click on this (me mumbling and scrolling quickly… whereverer there is a link they all open a Google Doc or Google Spreadsheet from the Course site – not from your Google Drive. So, here is the tutorial for the spreadsheet assignment. If you click right here you will be able to VIEW it but NOT EDIT it since it is my spreadsheet and everyone from the class or multiple classes can see this. What you need to do (in order to edit it) is you need to make a copy and save it first. You go to FILE then MAKE A COPY and save it and THEN it will show up in your Google Drive. So everything is through Blackboard. Okay! I hope that clarifies everything.
