Why is my homework showing up with a .docx extension?
ANSWER: Uh oh... You did something wrong. First, did you make sure to follow the step by step directions given to you in the homework instructions?
Once you open my GoogleDoc of the homework assignment you choose File>Make a Copy... and save a copy of this doc or spreadsheet with the following name: Module # HW First Initial.Lastname
That's all you do! Then you can begin to edit right on the GoogleDoc. No need for any docx. I will not be able to grade or make comments unless it is a proper GoogleDoc so please make sure to do this crucial step of making a copy...
