Each semester we look for new bloggers to write for Precollege Programs at FIT. Here are some things to think about before you submit an application to blog for us:
- Blogging for Precollege Programs is a time commitment. We will require at least 1 post per week in Fall and Spring semesters, and will expect a minimum of 2 posts per week for the summer semester (during July).
- All bloggers must be FIT Precollege students for the semester the blog with us.
- We will expect all Precollege Bloggers to share personal information with our readers which includes images of yourself, your work/projects, your plans and advice to other students, etc.
If any of these requirements makes you uneasy, we suggest that you reconsider blogging for us. We want students who are open and willing to share with their hopes, dreams, and experiences at FIT with our blog community.
After you submit your application to blog with us, the Precollege Programs Office staff will review your application. If selected, we may request a writing sample from you, which can include posts from your own blogs. Please note, we hope to have a variety of opinions and interest in majors other than just fashion design. Students of all interests, ages, genders are encouraged to apply.
Additional information will be made available if chosen to blog for Precollege Programs.
