Drawing Curves to Help with Area Under the Curve Problems
→ Always do a quick sketch. This will help throughout the course.
→ We can then compare our answer to the sketch and see if what we have makes sense.
Let’s find the area under the standard normal curve for the following:
- To the left of z= -.85
- To the right of z = -.85
- Between z= -.85 and z = .85
- Outside of -.85 to .85 (Tails)
