Why didn't you grade my homework yet?
ANSWER: Homework takes a long time to grade. Sometimes it can take 1 or 2 days. Other times 2 weeks (if there are a lot of mistakes in the homework) after it is due. Here is the main reason why it can take awhile:

When I log on to do grading, I first check the messages I receive in ANGEL. Responding to students is my number one priority. During the first month or so, I receive many messages from my online courses (I usually teach 2). I also get a few from my in-person classes. Believe it or not, it usually takes a few hours each day (weekdays only) to respond to messages. You should notice that after after the first few modules, homework gets graded fairly quickly!
HINT: I will always make an announcement in ANGEL when I am done grading assignments so you can check your document!
