Catherine Schuller is considered a pioneer in the plus size industry having been a full figured Ford Model in the 80’s when the market was still forming. She created a consulting entity called Emerging Visions Enterprises (E.V.E.) and joined AICI becoming a professional image consultant specializing in the plus size woman. She continued on with being the Fashion Editor of MODE magazine and never stopped adding onto her journey of promoting diversity, inclusivity, body positivity. The movement toward integration on the catwalk eventually morphed into Runway the Real Way. She is a core team creator and Image and Style Advisor with Divabetic, a charity outreach for women with diabetes.
She is a member of NYC Fair Trade Coalition adding sustainability into her platforms. She curates and creative directs a show during NYFW called hiTechMODA: Fashion Forward Innovation where she produces one of the four shows called the ReGen Runway which highlights fashion’s new direction featuring apparel in sync with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
