Marguerite Moore

Marguerite Moore is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Enterprise Studies and Digital Design at FIT. Professor Moore has taught at FIT since 1999 and is an experienced financial executive, business owner and author. She graduated from Pace University with a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance.
Her financial experience and knowledge of the entrepreneurial mindset has been transferred to teaching students how to start a business and grow it. She has been a mentor for several years to established business owners enrolled in the Design Entrepreneur NYC program to help them grow their businesses.
Professor Moore has many interests including sewing, reading historical novels, and photography. She has designed and sewn many of her business suits and coats and learned these skills from her mother who owned a bridal gown business. She possesses a love for seeing the beauty in nature and the human spirit and composes photographs of landscapes, seascapes and animals.
