Novum Gebrauchsgraphik<\/em><\/a> (World of Graphic Design) was first published in Munich, in 1924 as Gebrauchsgraphik<\/em>, but our holdings span the years 1972-1988. These were some pretty important years in the world of graphic design, and this title is full of interesting images as well as discussion of contemporary ad campaigns.<\/p>\n

This article<\/a> talks about the magazine’s history in the context of the rise of graphic design in the early 20th-century Europe.<\/p>\n

The magazine is still published, and has shifted from being printed in German to being bilingual German and English. Like many of our other graphic design titles, the website <\/a>expands the coverage of the title into much more specific aspects of its subject.<\/p>\n
