One of the many great benefits of the Home Products Development program is being able to travel to and attend tradeshows. Each spring the Junior class flies to High Point, North Carolina for the furniture market and in a few weeks we will be visiting Chicago for the Housewares Show. Being lucky enough to live in NYC, we have the opportunity to walk all of the fabulous shows at the Javits Center. The most recent we attended was the NY Now show. Each student identified a color trend and a trend trend to present to the class while observing what the companies had to offer for future seasons.
It would be impossible to highlight all of the greatest moments from the show, so I decided to collaborate with a few of my fellow classmates and share some of their favorite displays and booths from the show.
