Precollege Course: HSX 121: Passion for Fashion Styling

Describe your personal style. 
Much of what I wear is inspired by modern city street style. I love mixing patterns but always keeping a strong stable piece present.

Where do you go on breaks from class?
I usually take a walk to the restaurants and coffee shops surrounding the campus with my friends from class. It’s a good way to learn the areas and experience FIT as a high school student.

What are your favorite things about FIT?
I love that FIT is located in my favorite city in the world! New York City has the widest range of opportunities for students interested in the fashion industry. Pairing FIT with NYC adds to its fantastic reputation.  

Who or what inspires you?
I am really inspired by street style. The best way to discover new trends is through street themed student fashion blogs. Red Carpet fashion is my second favorite outlet.

What do you want to do after college?
After graduating from college, I hope to be able to use my education and experience to get involved in red carpet or photo shoot styling. If styling doesn’t work out, I want to become a clothing buyer.
