Color at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (IFCC) May 14-17 in NYC<\/a><\/h4>\n

Color<\/strong> borrowed from fashion color trends have really penetrated interiors, furniture and accessories for both residential and contract. This IFCC, the tradeshow held once a year in May at the Jacob Javits\u2019 Center, is the best example of any trade exhibition in New York and verifies this statement.<\/p>\n

Frank Gehry\u2019s \u201cUltracube\u201d pieces for Heller are now hyper-colored<\/strong> and made out of rotation molded polymer for indoors and out. Just by changing to trendy colors<\/strong> in traditionally styled outdoor chairs, the French company Fermob has created a unique multiple color statement. Li-Rong Liao from Pratt Institute folded a cotton candy pink<\/strong> colored felted material into a glass topped table. Aimee Wilder, a New York graphic designer created a fun-filled colored collection of wallpapers in hues of red and pink<\/strong>. LZF a company owned by a designing married team from Spain were represented by Global Lighting that are stars of lighting that work in high contrast colors in natural materials<\/strong>. Their wooden designs look like cut and molded papers that are worthy of museum collections.<\/p>\n
