On Blue

Blue is becoming my favorite color lately. It has amazing ranges and is clearly represented in home fashions to apparel and accessories this season fall 2016. It’s not new and it’s not a surprise. It hung around last season too and through the summer it shined. I think its appeal lies in its versatility. Maybe it’s the reputation for loyalty, something that resonates ”hope” in many of us during this political fiery climate. THE COLOR CORNER Question: WHAT DOES THE WESTMINSTER DOG SHOW AND FALL 2012 RTW HAVE IN COMMON? Answer: COLOR BLOCKING. Wondering where designers get ideas for Fall 2012? The neutral color blocking going on in New York’s Fashion Week and continuing in the European shows, have a lot of similarities to the Westminster Dog Show.
