Libby Chisholm Fearnley is a part time instructor in FIT’s Enterprise Studies and Digital Design center. Libby began her career designing apparel for over a decade mostly for corporate-sized brands and retailers. After starting a family, she became interested in sustainability and has since worked toward shaping the fashion industry into something powerful, rewarding and positive for the faces that make it up. She believes we have the power and duty to help fashion evolve into something more meaningful than just the perpetual consumption of clothes.
Libby is co-author with Marci Zaroff on a coming industry guide to transforming fashion called “adDRESSing Change: Reweaving the Global Fashion and Textiles Trade.”
