Here are my recommendations for fun in fall:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"js-subbuzz__title-text\">Attend one of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/brooklyngrangefarm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm<\/a>&#8216;s many rooftop events.\u00a0<\/span>It&#8217;s the world&#8217;s largest green roof farm! They have tons of cool happenings, like rooftop yoga classes and garden workshops, until the end of October. The schedule is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/brooklyngrangefarm.com\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"js-subbuzz__title-text\">Take the ferry to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/govisland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Governor&#8217;s Island<\/a>.\u00a0When you see the lower Manhattan skyline from the island on a fresh autumn day, you can&#8217;t help but smile \u2014 the view is dope. Bring your bike on the ferry for an extra $1, or rent one when you get there from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blazingsaddles.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blazing Saddles<\/a>. It&#8217;s a very bike-friendly island.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"js-subbuzz__title-text\">Take a long stroll through the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbg.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brooklyn Botanic Garden<\/a>.\u00a0Their fall foliage kills it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"js-subbuzz__title-text\">Hit up one of the city&#8217;s many farmer&#8217;s markets to buy all of the best apple varieties: Empire, Winesap, Northern Spy, Macoun, and more.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/html\/doh\/downloads\/pdf\/cdp\/farmers-market-map.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Here&#8217;s a list<\/a>\u00a0of all of the farmer&#8217;s markets in NYC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"js-subbuzz__title-text\">Stock up on cozy fall clothes at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/norelationvintage.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">No Relation Vintage<\/a>\u00a0in the East Village.
