\u00a0Every single year, New York lights up with holiday cheer and anticipation\u00a0for the big New Year festivity. \u00a0Here are some of my favorite spots to feel the excitement of the holiday time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rockefellercenter.com\/holidays\/\"><strong>Rockefeller Center<\/strong><\/a>: While this can be incredibly busy, overwhelming, and filled with tourists, it is a truly iconic symbol of the holiday time in New York. \u00a0If you haven&#8217;t witnessed the beauty of the tree and the excitement of the vast skating rink, it is definitely a spot that you have to check off your bucket list.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wintervillage.org\/\"><strong>Winter Village at Bryant Park<\/strong><\/a>:\u00a0This spot is a New York classic, only second to Rockefeller Center. \u00a0The Winter Village at Bryant Park not only has a beautiful ice skating rink, but about 100 shops and eateries to delight your tastebuds and find the perfect gifts for families and friends.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thisisstory.com\/\">STORY<\/a>:\u00a0<\/strong>This is far from your usual shopping experience. \u00a0STORY is a retail store that changes &#8220;themes&#8221; or &#8220;stories&#8221; every few months, rotating out inventory that fits with the theme of the store at that time. \u00a0This winter&#8217;s story (now &#8211; December 31st) is &#8220;Home for the Holidays&#8221; which has all of the unique holiday gifts you could ever ask for. \u00a0It truly is one of a kind and you could easily do all of your holiday shopping in the single store.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/urbanspacenyc.com\/union-square-holiday-market\/\"><strong>Union Square Holiday Market<\/strong><\/a>: This market is hands-down one of my FAVORITE markets in all of New York. \u00a0Not only is it easily accessible and conveniently located in Union Square, it radiates the joy and excitement of the holiday time. \u00a0It is packed to the brim with stores and small restaurant booths.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Happy holidays!<\/p>\n<p>Ashley<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The holiday season is among us, which means it&#8217;s a great time to explore the city looking for the best activities and spots for gifts!
