{"id":3067,"date":"2015-05-06T12:00:54","date_gmt":"2015-05-06T16:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.fitnyc.edu\/admissions\/?p=3067"},"modified":"2015-05-04T16:38:17","modified_gmt":"2015-05-04T20:38:17","slug":"moving-what-to-do","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.fitnyc.edu\/admissions\/2015\/05\/06\/moving-what-to-do\/","title":{"rendered":"Moving&#8230;What to do"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I have officially moved into an apartment. \u00a0I will not lie and I must say that moving was one of the most stressful experiences throughout my college term thus far. \u00a0You will think that you don&#8217;t have a lot of stuff, but you will immediately question if you are a hoarder while you are packing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I highly recommend keeping a stash of boxes that you&#8217;ve accumulated. \u00a0I held onto the boxes that I used to move in this past summer which made it incredibly easy for me to pack up before anyone got there to help me.<\/li>\n<li>Look at furniture before you approach IKEA. \u00a0The initial IKEA trip is a massive feat. \u00a0Look at the furniture that you&#8217;re interested in online and print out the information for that furniture. \u00a0You&#8217;ll be able to better recognize the furniture in store to see if you really like it, rather than looking around for hours (the options are endless). \u00a0Also, if you know what you want, you can always ask a trusty, IKEA employee (always willing to help)!<\/li>\n<li>Bring a dolly!
