The Clothesline Project

Hello, have you heard about The Clothesline Project?

This upcoming week from April 2nd to April 4th, you too can can participate in the project. The Clothesline Project is in effort to raise awareness about sexual assault. Every shirt tells a story about a person’s experience with sexual assault. The shirt may be someone’s personal experience or it may be from the eyes of someone who cares about a person and their specific journey. For the first week of April, these shirts will be displayed in the Feldman Center lobby, and in the Dubinsky Center Lobby for the rest of the month.
All month, FIT will be having events in support of Sexual Assault Awareness, such as the Yards for Yeardley event in the Breezeway on April 17th. This event is a walk in support for Yeardley Love and other victims of sexual assault. The event will take place from 9am-4pm and will provide information to organizations and services in support of sexual assault. Join us by creating your own shirt in support of those who have experienced relationship violence. Be sure to check out the other events occurring in April and join the important conversation around sexual assault education.

Best,
Annmarie X
