Taking Advantage of Downtime

Goal_Setting

With the current semester coming to an end, it’s as if I can finally breathe again. School can be VERY challenging, but it is so worth it. I am very excited to officially graduate with my AAS degree in Advertising/Marketing Communications with a minor in Communication Studies! Now I can finally enjoy my downtime and set some summer goals for myself.

With roughly 3 months off from school, it is important to use your time wisely and plan ahead. Summer is the perfect opportunity to fulfill a personal goal or hobby you have been putting off due to lack of time or even motivation.

This summer, I plan on coming back to work at a local department store in my town; that way I am able to come back to school with some extra cash to splurge on personal pleasures (mostly food and makeup.) With that said, I also plan on establishing a work-out routine for myself to combat the extra pounds I’ve gained on comfort food to keep me sane during the school year. Lastly, a personal goal of mine is to get my passport so I can embark on adventure and start traveling on my own.

Think about what you want to accomplish this summer. Life is what you make it, so make this summer downtime count!
