Writing skills bridge worlds

FIT students working on the 6th floor of the library

Just this week, the magazine Fast Company published an article about how important writing skills are to making it in the creative world. According to the article, the text a designer uses to describe any new tools has to be clear before the app itself can be succeed. For that reason, the best designers in the job market are the ones who can translate between design idea, code and user languages fluently. As FIT students, not only do you get one of the best design educations in the world, but we can help you with your writing skills too.

We know you have the design chops, but have you been to the Writing Studio yet? It’s space in the Feldman building, C612, where you can get advice and help developing your ideas into well-written reality. Click the link to make an appointment with a tutor.

Follow the footsteps to find the W & R Lounge!

We also have a new Writing and Research Lounge in the library? Just follow the yellow neon footsteps around the corner from the main reading room doors on the 5th floor in the library.
