Hi, all! Normally in this spot, you will find a magazine we’ve decided to feature for the next week. You can find it here and in the plastic binder on the desk where one of our Periodicalistas can show you what it is, tell you a little about it, and remind you to bring it back in less than 2 hours.
Since today is the first day of school, I wanted to welcome all the students we haven’t seen yet and introduce the PERS department. This is a weekly blog post which features a magazine title we carry in the FIT Library. The posts come from me, Beth McMahon and Carlos Taylor, another “Periodicals & Electronic & Serials Resources” staffer. We’re on the 6th floor in the library and we have tons of stuff waiting for you to take a look. And no, print is NOT dead.
The picture above is just to whet your appetite. Most of these titles are new and are artsy or funky in some way. If the content doesn’t interest you, it’s possible the graphic design or the images in it will.
