Teaching Philosophy:

I believe in the universality of art, and I communicate to my students its power, global influence, and multiculturalism. Art is the great unifier and the language of form and expression and I attempt to translate it into a fun yet educative environment. My goal is to ignite interest for drawing, a passion for painting, and an understanding of form and how to visualize it aesthetically. The students learn that

through art, we become more engaged in our world, history, and present. Our worldview gains sophistication and we grow more attentive to the details and the big picture.
