The end is near…

My last class in Styling of Fashion, Food and Home Products for the Visual Industry is rapidly approaching.  This semester has gone by so fast, it’s unreal.  I do not have an official ‘final project’ in my class but we did our mannequin photoshoot this Saturday and next Saturday is the food photoshoot!  I am particularly excited for next week because my group is doing sushi, my favorite food and I will get to eat it after the shoot (at 10 in the morning yum haha).

Anyway, for the mannequin photoshoot my group was going for a classy-yet-still-young-and-chic look.  Getting to see the mannequin and wig closets in the D building was very cool experience (and a little creepy).  Before we were allowed to touch the mannequins we had to learn the etiquette and rules from Professor Sokoli because they are very fragile and very expensive.  Our mannequin was the fabulous Erin O’Connor, a model from the 90s.  There was so many too choose from but she was the tallest and skinniest, so our clothes would look the best on Erin.  Overall I am very pleased with how our pictures came out and it is definately a piece to add to my portfolio.

xoxo,

Mary
