C-Lobby Exhibit: Glimpse

Take a GLIMPSE!

Running Now – December 9, 2011

GLIMPSE, an exhibition, combines the efforts of eight classes from the following departments: Communications Design, Photography, and Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design.

For many people each day’s events are recorded like a series of videos. At the same time others remember their time as a string of snapshots or glimpses.

These brief moments may look like frames of a movie or more abstract arrangements of form, light, and color. Such glimpses can be found in our peripheral vision or directly in front of us in groups of friends or passing strangers. Windows acting as simple lenses often present us with a variety of vivid images. Photography is the perfect tool that allows us to react instantaneously to capture these impulses for later appreciation.

This exhibition of photographs by the third year BFA Photography students presents us with their experiences.

The meaning is not always obvious. Glimpse.
