Hand sketching is a very important component in a design portfolio and is a critical skill to be used throughout your career. If you were to take this course, which is available to high school students this summer in our Summer Live Program, you will use drawing in a process of design exploration and discovery—sketching ideas for both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional projects. In-class drawing and design exercises will challenge your inventiveness, and open up your thinking. You will also see how working professionals use sketching to develop and present design ideas. This course will serve to strengthen your portfolio with exciting examples of your visual thinking.

No previous drawing experience required!
