- Hello all!
Spring is here and in full bloom. Time to put those North Face jackets and Ugg boots away and pull out the Springtime dresses and shorts! This week, I found someone who was dressed for success and for Springtime in the hallways and his name is Archie. Embracing the spirit of Spring and all of the warm weather it brings, he couldn’t wait to pull out his shorts and come to FIT for his Precollege class! Take a look at Archie’s Springtime ensamble and read his Q&A!
As always, feel free to comment & tell us what you think of Archie’s outfit or respond to any of his answers.
xoxo

Sew, what is your personal Style?
I’m just not very fussy. I buy and wear lots of vintage clothes and I don’t buy “new” clothes often.
Sew, where do you go on your breaks from class?
Starbucks, and some days I go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art after class.
Sew, what is your favorite store to shop for clothes?
Urban Outfitters, and my favorite store, Unique Thrift Store in Union, NJ. Unique is like a department store, but it olny sells vintage clothing!
Sew, who inspires you?
First, Lady GaGa. I am so inspired by her because her style is so independent and she doesnt care what other people think about her outfits. Secondly, I am inspired by CoCo Chanel. I love her because she designed and wore what she believed in and she also didn’t care about what people thought of her.
Sew, what are a few things you can not live without or always carry with you?
Sunglasses, chapstick, leather shoes (like in the photo above), and my iPod. My favorite song is “Take me or Leave Me” from Rent!
Sew, where are you from?
Maplewood, New Jersey
Sew, how old are you?
14
Sew, what do you want to be after you graduate from college?
First, a fashion designer. Then, I want to be a goodwill embassador later on because I really want to travel the world and help people in other countries who are less fortunate than us.

I love this outfit! This is like FIT’s very own Sartoralist. He’s so cute!
Wow, I like his style. I’m surprised I haven’t seen him before we live in the same town.
Love those shoes
Vintage clothing and vintage sunglasses are always trendsetters. Now spring is in full bloom. Don’t forget to take good quality sunglasses. It will protect your eyes from harmful radiations.
