Pursuing Passion=Work! Nathaniel Gold, MFA ’11

Nathaniel Gold has a long standing love affair with anything chimp. We could not help but encourage him to put this amor together with his hand for his Capstone when pursuing his MA in 2007. Nathaniel has never looked back. His body
of work for his MA graduating exhibition was produced in his
self-published book, The Chimpanzee Manifesto and won
an Independent Book Award. Primatologist and writer
Eric Michael Johnson saw Nathaniel’s work while he was finishing his MFA at FIT and invited him to partner with him on Scientific American online-
a collaborative effort that has been keeping Nathaniel for the past two years.  The collaboration has just expanded to an article on Slate Magazine online. You can see the result of these great stories here:
