  1. Questions:

#1 What great part of this world do you come from?
Born in Paris, France but raised in Westchester, New York.

#2 What kinds of non-credit classes would you like us to offer online?
Email Marketing; Digital Marketing; E-Commerce related classes.

  2. Although I am New York Brooklyn born my family is rooted back to Egypt and Puerto Rico along with Sicily and Germany. I am truly a hybrid of Puerto Rican, Sicilian and German heritage.
I wrote a seminar course that unfortunately did not run due to lack of enrollment. It is a new course and I am hoping the low enrollment is due to a late announcement of new courses. It is due to run again in the fall. In my 10 years + as an adjunct I know there is an interest in Rug Design and currently only one day time credited course. Therefore the SXH 525 Professional Design Techniques for Area Rugs is a course I would like to see run because I know there is great interest. Perhaps the word needs to get around more. So many people call and email me on courses they can take to learn to do this and well….now there is a course and there needs to be word out and interest.
Otherwise more courses on COLOR can help, as myself and my students truly need more education here.

  3. 1) I was born, raised and educated (FIT ’79)in NYC! What a fabulous place to learn & experience life in! How fortunate I am to be back at FIT for the Pet Fashion Design Certificate!
    2) Would love to see any online class pertinent or related to the Pet Fashion Industry.

  4. I’m from Long Island. My daughter is an FIT Fashion Merchandising major and I take non-credit courses here. I’d like to see more beading classes.
