New Semester, New Opportunities

With the start of the new year, everyone is pushing the idea of resolutions and making overall change in your life.  Thankfully for you as a student, you have 2 ways that you can start over.  It is a brand new year and a brand new semester.  If this previous semester was not your greatest, evaluate what you could have done differently.  From there, write down goals that you have for yourself and think about the steps that you need to take to get yourself there.

We can get so caught up in the city and continuously moving and pushing ourselves and not realizing where the time went.  When we stop to evaluate how we ar physically and emotionally and make changes to improve ourselves, that is when we see results.  If you surrounded yourself with negative people and energy this past semester, focus on yourself and your success and break away from anyone that is holding you back.  If you are interested in an internship or job that may be “out of your league,” apply for it anyways.  You never know where and when opportunities reveal themselves, but take advantage of your time here in New York.  Make this semester the semester that you hoped it would be, whether it’s your first semester, or your last.  Best of luck!
