Obviously New York City has a lot of perks. The industry, the city, the people, the center of all things relevant and happening are here. With that, you’ll never miss a concert tour stop, a famous restaurant, or in this case, a meetup with your favorite YouTubers. Today, I had the luxury of meeting Meghan Rosette and Lauren Elizabeth from YouTube. Both girls have a huge follower base and they are in NYC for business. Last minute (yesterday), they decided to have a meetup in Times Square in front of the Forever 21 for all of their subscribers that could make it. I thankfully don’t have classes on Monday, so when I found out that I COULD MEET THEM, I screamed, danced around my dorm room, and deliberately picked out an outfit that would be picture worthy. Both girls were so incredibly nice and hilarious. I gave them both Psst…Hey You… cards (http://blog.fitnyc.edu/admissions/2014/04/18/psst-hey-you-read-this/) and got to take pictures and hang out with the rest of the subscribers that showed up. I met some other subscribers that go to FIT and various schools throughout New York. It was incredible to meet them and it wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t go to school in New York City. What a day. What a small world.
